Qahwa Restaurant

This project is located in a complex urban setting with such one minority community is the major user group.
The design was developed to empower them and to connect the architecture with their cultural legacy to make a sense of ownership and pride about the project and the same with their identity and culture.
The project followed design language of Islamic architectural styles from middle east and Northern Africs, spaces inspired from Arabian souqs, Morroccan riyadhs etc which helped people to experience and interact with architecture and fellow people rather than just come have food and leave.
The courtyard is the main core of the building where cross-cultural interaction happens.
